Metallic Epoxy · Raleigh, NC
Floors that move like liquid stone.
Metallic epoxy is poured, not painted. Mica pigments suspended in clear resin flow and settle into patterns no two installers — and no two pours — can ever repeat. It's the floor for spaces that deserve a centerpiece: basements, home bars, offices, showrooms.

The Craft
Why metallic is a different discipline
A flake floor is engineered to be repeatable. A metallic floor is the opposite: the pour is manipulated while it’s live — drizzling accent pigment, back-rolling, misting solvent to open up cells and veins — and then the material finishes the design itself as it self-levels. The installer’s judgment during those minutes is the whole product.
Because a pour can’t be undone, sample boards come first. You approve the base color, the accent, and how much movement you want — subtle marble or dramatic lava — before any material is mixed for your floor.
Underneath the art it’s the same engineering as any quality floor: ground slab, moisture testing, a solid base coat, and a urethane or polyaspartic topcoat with optional anti-slip aggregate. Beautiful, and still a floor you can drop a dumbbell on.

Where It Shines
The right rooms for metallic
Metallic epoxy is a statement finish. These are the spaces where it earns its price.
Finished basements
Seamless, moisture-tolerant, and dramatic — metallic solves the two basement problems (damp slabs and dull concrete) in one system.
Home bars & rec rooms
The gloss and movement read as luxury the moment someone walks down the stairs. This is our most-requested 'wow' installation.
Retail & showrooms
A one-of-one floor that photographs beautifully and never needs waxing. Your space becomes the backdrop your products deserve.
Offices & studios
Clients notice. A Storm Slate or Titanium pour gives a workspace the finish of a flagship store at a fraction of terrazzo cost.
Salons & barbershops
Chemical-resistant to color and product spills, mops clean in minutes, and looks the part on every client's social feed.
Man caves & collections
Under a car collection or memorabilia wall, a metallic floor turns a garage into a gallery. Add anti-slip grit where tires roll.
Start with a sample board.
Tell us the room and the look you're after. We'll pour your colorway on a board, hand it to you, and quote the floor — no commitment until you love it.
